Welcome to Modern Montessori Life! I’m Tara, a certified Primary Montessori Assistant and a mom of three! Since becoming a mom and learning about Montessori, I have left my job in tech and began to pursue my passion for Montessori. In my free time I love spending time with my family, reading, rocking climbing, Yoga and crafting.

About us
Hi there! My name is Savannah, I am a former Montessori and public school teacher, in the process of earning my AMI 3-6 certification, a former Montessori kid, and a big fan of supporting kids 0-5 and their caretakers!
On the family life side, I have a 3 year old and a newborn due in August 2023. I love Montessori and the fact that it helps children become the fullest versions of themselves, be peaceful and kind people, manage their time, and build their interests and focus.
We’re excited to support you in your Montessori parenting journey because we get that it really isn’t easy in this fast-paced world. For me, I had to overcome the need to do Montessori perfectly and lean into doing Montessori in a way that worked with our family and needs.
